We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with deep expertise in Golang and distributed systems to help us design, build, and scale data-intensive services in a cloud-native Kubernetes environment. 🚀 What You'll Do
* Design and maintain highly scalable, cloud-native APIs and backend services using Golang.
* Lead the full development lifecycle — from architectural planning to testing and production deployment.
* Build robust integrations with external systems and services, ensuring reliability and clean API contracts.
* Use test-driven development (TDD) to write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code.
* Troubleshoot complex issues in production, minimizing downtime and improving system health.
* Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and Program Management teams to align on goals and timelines.
* Participate in code reviews, system architecture discussions, and engineering best practices.
* Provide accurate effort estimates for development tasks during PI planning sessions.
* Prototype new solutions to enhance performance, reduce operational costs, and accelerate delivery.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering velocity and code quality.
🧠 What You’ll Need to Succeed
* 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience.
* Intermediate - Advanced English Level.
* Expertise in Golang (required), with solid hands-on experience in Node.js.
* Experience with Kafka for building streaming data applications.
* Strong knowledge of MongoDB and performance optimization techniques (queries, indexes, etc.).
* Proficiency in gRPC and/or GraphQL for building modern, flexible APIs.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience working in Kubernetes and Docker, preferably in AWS environments.
* Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, team collaboration, and the ability to work across time zones.
🌟 Bonus Points (Nice to Have)
* Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other multi-cloud environments.
* Hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
* Familiarity with observability frameworks for monitoring, logging, and alerting.
* Advanced skills in Bash scripting, GNU Make, and optimizing build systems.
