Autodesk is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Concurrent Editing team and work on a real-time collaboration platform. The ideal candidate will contribute to the team's vision, develop high-performance distributed systems, and uphold best engineering practices. This role requires 5 to 8 years of relevant industry experience, proficiency in NodeJS, Typescript, and Python, and a strong understanding of cloud computing and AWS. The candidate should also have experience with automation frameworks, NoSQL databases, and a commitment to growing deeper in the knowledge of improving existing applications. Responsibilities: - Contribute to the team's vision and articulate strategies for a fundamental impact on a massive scale - Architect systems to accommodate requirements and extend to accommodate those needs - Diagnose and develop technical solutions in distributed systems - Develop high-performance, fault-tolerant, and scalable distributed systems - Ideate and lead projects to improve user experience - Provide solid leadership within your problem space through a data-driven approach and software designs - Participate in design reviews with peers and partners to adopt the best technologies - Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices - Automate cloud infrastructure, services, and observability - Develop CI/CD pipelines and testing automation - Establish and uphold best engineering practices through code and design reviews and improved tools - Mentor and groom junior engineers - Drive a culture of trust, respect, and inclusion within the team
