Requirements and responsibilities

Responsibilities • Collaborate with clients to perform brand and video discovery. Determine concepts and goals of videos • Creatively conceptualize stories, write video treatments and scripts, manage production budgets and schedules • Oversee videographers, editors, motion graphic artists and animators to manage every aspect of a video project from start to finish • Sell video services to new clients and win new bids for video work • Manage the video department’s P&L and create & adjust businesses development strategies • Bring video projects to completion on time and on budget for Desmond I Garcia clients ($100MM to Fortune 20 companies) • Oversee video team on project timelines, project resources and project plans • Oversee project financials, with a focus on optimizing efficiency and project margin • Assure that projects achieve desired creative, business, and technical objectives • Validate and create project deliverables • Identify and mitigate project risks • Identify new project opportunities with existing clients • Lead internal project team • Establish close working relationships with client project team and internal development managers • Oversee all aspects of production, including concept, pre-production, production, post-production and distribution • Evangelize the brand to clients, including C-Suite, Executives and Directors • Manage multiple projects at different stages, from proposal/estimating phases to completion and follow-through • Communicate, define and manage the scope of the project to ensure client needs are met and budgets are considered • Create and oversee project schedules including dependencies, duration and resources needed • Forecast, track and manage project budgets • Create and oversee internal and external expectations for project success and monitor quality standards for all project deliverables • Work with video team to propose solutions for clients needs • Help define, manage and facilitate client deliverables and assets to project team
