Requirements and responsibilities


Will work closely with the design team, product owners, and other engineers in order to implement user interfaces for Shippify core products by taking in care the user experience. You will be expected to iterate quickly and make software design decisions on product features. REQUIREMENTS - 2 years of experience building web applications. - Solid knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS. It's a plus is you know SASS or LESS and are up to date with the revisions of js. - Experience working with APIs (JSON). - Experience with React/Hooks/Redux. Experience with React Native is a plus. - Experience with Webpack. Other module bundlers are a plus. - Experience working with test frameworks such as Mocha, Jest, etc. Experience with code linting (eslint). - Experience dealing with real time data (Firebase, Web sockets). - Empathy towards developers, e.g. when making design decisions and breaking changes - Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application - Minimum 2 years of experience with modern development tools and workflows such as git, GitHub or equivalents. RESPONSIBILITIES - Work with Design Team to define user interfaces. - Work with API Engineers to define how the communication will be done with the Server. - Help enhance and build documentation for the different components. - Collaborate with support to our Operations Team. - Derive job satisfaction from abstracting and refactoring
