Responsibilities & more

• Be responsible for incident and problem management, performance improvement • Monitor servers, filesystems, CPU/memory utilization • Patch and upgrade Operating System, new storage addition (SAN/NAS) • Configure and maintain HA (Sun Cluster / RedHat Cluster Server) and distributed computing (HIVE) environments • Be responsible for backup support and troubleshooting • Install application packages and configuration files • Be responsible for application performance issues troubleshooting • Maintain servers’ configuration data collection (CMDB) • Be responsible for capacity management (reporting high memory/CPU/filesystem usage to AMs, supporting application data growth data collection) • Cooperate and support other infrastructure teams (Storage, Backup, Network) and their change/delivery processes • Support new projects related to infrastructure and/or new application environments • Assist with DR activities, both for infrastructure and application tasks/duties.
