Responsibilities
Operations & Automation Manager, Amazon Growth Agency (Remote)
Salary: USD 1,800 to 2,500 per month
Engagement: Full-time contractor, 40 hours a week
Hours: Flexible, with some overlap with US Pacific business hours each weekday
We are an Amazon advertising and brand-growth agency. We run the Amazon channel for about 25 consumer brands as their fractional Amazon COO: ads, listings, creative, catalog, inventory and strategy. Small team, fully remote, and you report to the two founders.
The job
Our tools don't talk to each other yet. Leads land in GoHighLevel, delivery runs in ClickUp, list work runs in Clay, and the links between them are thin or missing. One of our Make scenarios has never completed a single run. You build those links and keep them running. This is build work.
What you build and own
- Connections between ClickUp, GoHighLevel, Clay, Make or n8n, Missive, Google Drive, Slack and Stripe, so a reply, a signed client or a new task moves to the next system without anyone copying it.
- ClickUp as the source of truth: one standard space per client, owners, dependencies, dashboards a founder reads at a glance.
- Tasks that arrive with the details, the owner and the definition of done.
- Plumbing for sales: account alerts, Clay tables, reply routing.
- SOPs you write and keep current, and a quality gate before client delivery.
- Early warnings to the founders on deadlines, blockers and quiet accounts.
First 90 days
Day 30: the broken things work. Day 60: one new system connection is live, and a weekly operations report arrives unasked. Day 90: the founders stop asking "did anyone do this?"
What you need
- Operations or systems experience at an agency or service business.
- Automations you built. Make experience is a strong plus; n8n, Zapier or API work also counts.
- GoHighLevel is a plus, and you can learn it.
- Clear written English and daily use of AI tools in your work.
Amazon knowledge is not required.
Pay: USD 1,800 to 2,500 per month, set by the depth you show.
How we hire
We hire slowly and on purpose. We reply to every complete application within 5 business days. Then a video call with a founder, then a paid trial for finalists on a sanitized copy of our real operations. You are paid for the trial whether or not we hire you.
