Position Overview: We are seeking an SEO Strategy & Technical Lead to build and refine our SEO operations. This role combines strategic leadership and technical SEO execution. You will shape SEO frameworks, mentor team members, and directly manage high-priority accounts. As the team grows, the focus will shift toward leadership, scalable processes, and innovation. Key Responsibilities: Strategy & Leadership (50%): Set the SEO strategy across ~50 client accounts with direct oversight of 1–2 high-priority accounts. Lead weekly strategy sessions, guiding SEO specialists and content teams. Audit 6–8 accounts per month for opportunities and performance improvements. Build and maintain SOPs for keyword research, technical audits, and reporting. Technical SEO Execution (35%): Manage 1–2 key accounts end-to-end: audits, roadmap creation, optimization, and reporting. Execute targeted technical SEO projects: Core Web Vitals, structured data, and analytics setup. Develop standardized dashboards that focus on ROI rather than vanity metrics. Innovation & Continuous Improvement (15%): Evaluate and test new SEO tools, sharing actionable insights with the team. Stay ahead of algorithm updates and industry shifts. Integrate AI and automation to increase efficiency and scalability. Qualifications: Proven SEO track record with measurable results (agency or multi-client experience preferred). Strong technical SEO expertise: audits, structured data, analytics, Core Web Vitals. Proficiency in GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, and WordPress. Experience mentoring and leading team members with excellent communication skills. Ability to create scalable processes and documentation. Data-driven mindset with a passion for experimentation and continuous improvement. Nice-to-Haves: Experience in trades/home services industries. Familiarity with AI-driven SEO tools and automation.
