This passionate and highly efficient team embodies Raving Fan service with their customers and colleagues by striving for excellence and accuracy in everything they do.WAYS YOU’LL CONTRIBUTEYou will be reporting to the Manager, Collections and supporting the department in the processing of the company’s outstanding account receivables while managing an acceptable DSO. You will provide backup assistance for the collections team when needed, researching payment issues, monthly account reconciliations, reporting, projects, and collections. You will contribute by:Acting as a team lead for Collections Coordinator rolesPerforming collections outreach for a portfolio of at least $40M, while always striving to exceed collection goals, lower DSO, and meet or exceed individual KPIsHaving a sound judgment of industry, market trends, and internal processes to form an intelligent approach towards the escalation of collection issuesResearching and reconciling misapplied or unapplied cashCompleting assigned month-end tasks accurately and timelyStrategically approaching customers to limit Basis' exposure and mitigate riskAccurately and consistently documenting all collections efforts in Basis' financial system, NetsuitePerforming daily cash application timely and with 100% accuracyReviewing customers financial position and credit-worthiness using different tools and resourcesProviding backup coverage as neededProactively engaging in periodically reviewing and updating existing policies and proceduresProviding Raving Fan service to customers and colleaguesWorking with Billing and Sales to resolve customer issues timelyAssisting with special projects for the Manager or Director as neededWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLEThoughtful approach to collaboration, design, and decision-making that prioritizes equity, access, and continuous learning.Commitment to creating inclusive, respectful environments where all voices are valued and supported.2-3 years of relevant work experienceCollege degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or similarPrevious strong cash application and credit card experience, at least 2-3 years of working knowledgePrevious accounts receivable and collection experience, at least 2-3 yearsStrong negotiating and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong knowledge of excel.BONUS POINTSSpanish bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.Integrity in HiringAt Basis, integrity is at the core of how we hire.
