Requirements and responsibilities

The construction industry is facing a severe labor shortage. The industry is at an inflection point where they must reimagine talent and modernize their people strategy. Bridgit is the category leader for workforce planning and working with the largest and most sophisticated US general contractors. Although we have continued to gain traction since launching in 2019, there is significant opportunity ahead as we continue to innovate and broaden our offering. At Bridgit, we're not just building AI into our product; we're embedding it into how we operate. We're looking for an AI Technical Product Manager to own that internal transformation. This is a builder role at the intersection of technology and the business. You'll work directly with our GTM teams - Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and RevOps - to understand how they work, identify where AI can eliminate friction, and then go build it. Think custom Claude skills & plugins, internal agents, workflow automations, and integrations that make our people measurably faster and smarter. This role reports to the Director of Product Management, but operates across the entire org - you'll be as comfortable in a Sales team standup as reviewing an API integration with Development. We're not looking for one specific background: whether you're a developer curious about the business side or a product person ready to build real technical chops, if you learn a new AI capability on Monday and have a working prototype by Wednesday, this role was written for you. What you will doEmbed with GTM teams to deeply understand their workflows, pain points, and repetitive tasks - then translate those into AI-powered solutionsDesign, build, and iterate on internal Claude skills, plugins, and automations that eliminate manual work across Sales, Marketing, CS, RevOps and ProductIdentify and prioritize what to build next - work with GTM teams to surface the highest-impact automation opportunities, sequence them, and drive them to completionPartner with Engineering on integrations - you're comfortable writing scripts, hitting APIs, and getting your hands dirty when a skill or plugin isn't enough; for more complex integrations into existing tools, you'll work closely with Engineering to scope and ship itKeep the AI workspace healthy - maintain documentation, prompts, and configurations so that what's been built is discoverable and usable by the whole org, not just the person who built itAct as the internal AI expert and enablement lead: run demos, write guides, and coach teams on how to get the most out of AI toolsStay current on the rapidly evolving AI tooling landscape and bring the best of it back to BridgitWhat you will bringHands-on experience building with LLMs - you've shipped real things using Claude, OpenAI, or other major LLMs, not just experimented in a notebookStrong familiarity with the Claude ecosystem specifically: prompt engineering, the API, Claude Projects, and ideally building custom skills or MCP-based integrationsEnough technical depth to build independently: you're comfortable with APIs, basic scripting (Python or JS), and workflow automation tools (Zapier, Make, or similar)Experience working with or inside GTM teams - you understand how Sales and CS actually operate, not just in theoryA product mindset: you think in terms of user problems and outcomes, not just features and demosStrong communicator - you can translate between "here's what the AI can do" and "here's what that means for your workflow" without losing either audienceWho you areFluent in AI, not just familiar with it - you use these tools daily, you know their limits as well as their strengths, and you have opinions about what actually worksA builder first - you'd rather ship a working prototype than write a requirements doc about oneComfortable with ambiguity - this role is new, the tooling is evolving fast, and the best path forward won't always be obvious; you're energized by that, not paralyzedCollaborative and low-ego - you measure your own success by the impact you have on others, not by the complexity of what you builtOutcome-oriented - you care about whether the thing you built actually changed how people work, not just whether it got shippedBridgit core valuesBuild Together, Win Together:  Committed to pursuing the best outcomes and advancing toward shared goals. When faced with challenges, they maintain composure and reliability and work as a team.  Proactively remove roadblocks to maintain momentum and achieve goals.  As a team, they embody a solution-oriented attitude and drive to win.Take Action, Drive Impact:  Ensure efforts contribute directly to goals.  Step up and offer innovative solutions to overcome obstacles and improve processes.  Leverage the ability to think independently and strategically.  Navigate uncharted territory effectively while also laying a foundation for sustainable growth and success.  No Grit, No Pearl: Embrace the gritty aspects of the journey to success.  Pitch in wholeheartedly and recognize that no task is beneath us when it contributes to Bridgit’s collective success.  Believe that confronting ambiguity or adversity with determination, not only strengthens resilience but also fosters growth, driving continuous improvement and achievement.CompensationAt Bridgit, we believe our people are our most valuable asset and we are committed to fair and competitive compensation. The salary range for this role is $120,000 – $150,000 CAD annually.
