About the CompanyGGWP is a fast-paced start-up co-founded by three successful entrepreneurs with the backing of key strategic investors in the video game industry. GGWP aims to curb toxicity in gaming by creating positive, player-centric experiences. We are working with popular online video games who are aligned with our mission.What You'll DoAs a front-end engineer, you will primarily work with the team to design and build intuitive, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces. You will collaborate closely with Engineering Leads, UI/UX Designers, Product teams, and Back-End Engineers to identify, build, test, and deploy engaging web applications and dashboards. You would also be responsible for translating product requirements and design mockups into polished, production-ready front-end experiences. You will review requirements with Product Managers, Designers, and Analysts. You will work closely with other engineers to ensure efficient use of resources and proper integration with our broader cloud infrastructure and APIs.ResponsibilitiesBuilding responsive and accessible web interfacesWriting reusable, maintainable UI componentsConsuming and integrating RESTful APIs and data servicesTool development to extend our internal web platformSoftware engineering and designing scalable front-end architecturesR&D on various front-end technologies with a focus on optimising performance and user experienceWorking together with engineers, designers, and product teamsWhat We Are Looking For3+ years of industry experience building web applications, UI components, and front-end systemsDegree in Computer Science or related fieldGood analytical skills with strong fundamentals of data structures and algorithmsUnderstanding of web performance, rendering optimisation, and browser compatibilityProficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 , CSS preprocessorsExperience with modern front-end frameworks/Libraries (e.g. Next, ReactJS, Vue, Angular, or similar)Experience with state management solutions (e.g. Jotai, Redux, Zustand, React context )Experience with RESTful API integration and data wrapperFamiliarity with front-end build tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Webpack, Vite, jenkins, bitbucket Actions)Familiarity with Unit testing toolsets (eg: Testing Library, Vitest, MSW)Experience working with design systems and component libraries (e.g. Material UI, Figma )Ability to think critically and creatively in a dynamic environment, while picking up new tools and domain knowledge along the wayA positive attitude and a growth mindsetBonusA passion for gaming 😄Experience with serverless front-end deployment (e.g. AWS Amplify, Vercel, Netlify)Familiarity with data visualisation libraries (e.g. D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts)Experience with end-to-end or component testing frameworks (e.g. Cypress, Playwright, Jest)
