This role blends deep product understanding with a strong public-facing presence. You will represent Agora at key AI, Developer, and Product events; translate developer and market feedback into actionable product insights; and act as a bridge between our Product, Marketing, and Developer Ecosystem teams. The ideal candidate is equal parts technical communicator, product strategist, and community builder - someone who can inspire developers while shaping the roadmap with real-world insight. They have a builder’s mindset and thrive in fast-moving environments. They have likely worked at a startup or been a founder themselves, giving them a bias toward action, experimentation, and learning fast. They are comfortable operating without rigid process, making decisions with imperfect information, and connecting dots quickly based on what they observe in the field. They are self-motivated, relentlessly curious, and naturally entrepreneurial — someone who sees patterns before they are obvious, translates raw signal from the market into strategic product direction, and brings an authentic passion for empowering developers. They roll up their sleeves, prototype ideas rapidly, and pursue opportunities with scrappiness and creativity. If they have built and shipped projects, built communities, or rallied others around a mission before - even better. The role will be roughly 60% field product engagement (customer, partner, and internal product alignment) and 40% developer evangelism (content, community, and events).Your success will be measured by your ability to turn developer and customer insights into both product improvements and community engagement that drives adoption.Key ResponsibilitiesField Product EngagementAct as a product expert for Agora’s Conversational AI and real-time engagement solutions in the field across key verticals and use cases.Lead technical demos, workshops, meetups and proof-of-concept sessions with customers, developers, and partners.Translate customer use cases and field insights into actionable feedback for Product and Engineering.Partner with the Product, Sales, Solutions, and Customer Success teams to support adoption and product alignment.Identify market opportunities, new use cases, and help shape go-to-market strategies for new releases and SDKs.Rapidly prototype conversational AI experiences to explore feasibility and guide product direction.Developer Evangelism & AdvocacyRepresent Agora at regional AI and developer conferences, meetups, and industry events.Deliver keynotes, technical talks, and hands-on workshops that highlight Agora’s platform capabilities.Build and nurture relationships with developers, open-source contributors, and ecosystem partners.Create authentic, high-impact content - from code samples and prototype demos to blogs, videos, and talks - that help developers build faster and better.Foster authentic engagement through online channels (GitHub, Discord, X, LinkedIn, and community forums).This function complements your field work by transforming real-world insights into inspiring content and developer engagement.Cross-Functional PartnershipCollaborate with Product Marketing on positioning, messaging, and launch readiness.Provide structured, detailed, and actionable feedback to Product Managers and Engineering on market trends and developer sentiment.Partner with Developer Evangelist team to amplify ecosystem initiatives, hackathons, and strategic partnerships.Collaborate closely with Developer Relations and Product teams to align community insights with roadmap priorities and feature development.Qualifications5 to 7 years of experience in product, developer advocacy, or technical field roles within PaaS, SaaS, AI, or infrastructure technology.3+ years of hands-on full stack or AI development experience (React, Next,js)Preferred: Front End Developer experience.Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Strong technical depth and curiosity for emerging AI trends.Self-starter comfortable working across global, fast-moving teams.Success in this role will look likeStrong developer engagement across channels and eventsClear product feedback loops that shape releasesMeasurable growth in adoption, advocacy, and ecosystem healthWhy Join AgoraYou’ll be part of a team shaping how humans and AI connect in real time.
