Requirements and responsibilities

We are looking for a firmware engineer who specializes in touchscreen UI on microcontrollers. This involves Google Nest-style interfaces running on constrained hardware, not web or mobile apps. Must-haves: - Strong C/C++, RTOS experience (FreeRTOS or Zephyr). - Hands-on with LVGL or TouchGFX, and direct experience driving displays over SPI/I2C. - Knowledge of framebuffers, touch controllers, and how to fit a polished UI into limited SRAM and flash. - Platform experience: STM32, ESP32, or NXP i.MX RT preferred. Key Differentiator: - They think in kilobytes and milliseconds. - This is not a web developer who learned C. - It is someone who can write the display driver and care about the animation feeling smooth. Nice to have: - BLE or Wi-Fi connectivity experience. - Asset pipeline tooling (font/image conversion). - The ability to run UI simulations on desktop before flashing hardware.
