About the roleFund Services Group (FSG) is the solution for operational excellence being sought by private fund managers who wish to focus solely on raising capital and identifying investment opportunities. FSG supports the entire life-cycle of clients’ private funds and management company, including execution of investments, investor experience, and compliance, finance, and human resource solutions needed to satisfy regulatory requirements. The Investment Operations Senior Associate role is an opportunity to learn and experience the finance industry in a people-oriented, hard-working, team-player culture.Your key responsibilitiesPerform reviews of treasury transactions to ensure accuracy and complianceReview and approve money movements, validating instructions and supporting documentationMonitor daily cash activity and reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepanciesReview cash balances and liquidity to support upcoming transactionsAssist in maintaining and enforcing treasury controlsConduct periodic quality control checks and process reviewsCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate cash activityIdentify process gaps and support improvements and automationMaintain clear procedures and documentation (SOPs)Review junior team members’ work for accuracy and consistencySupport internal and external auditsOur requirements for you as an applicant3-5 years of experience in treasury, investment operations, or fund administrationExperience reviewing and approving cash transactionsStrong understanding of cash management and capital activity workflowsAbility to identify and resolve discrepancies independentlyExperience reviewing or guiding others’ work preferredBe a team player with a persistent work ethicBe exceptional in your organizational, written, and communication skillsHave an impeccable attention to detailBe exemplary in prioritization and multi-tasking in a high-volume, high-speed environmentBe proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience in Salesforce helpful, but not requiredWhat we offerComprehensive benefitsBase salary commensurate with experience and success: The annual base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $85,000Quarterly bonus with unlimited upside potential: 1/3rd of profits (no matter how much) shared with the team in bonuses each quarterFSG is primarily a remote work company, but some training for this role may be best delivered in-person leveraging client sites or local coworking locations. Clients may also request on-site support from time-to-time. During the interview process, FSG can outline expectations about what, if any, in-person training or support time is expected for this role.
