Responsibilities
Role Overview:
- The Senior SAP ABAP Developer will serve as a core technical delivery resource for Phase 3 enhancements.
- This role is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of ABAP-based solutions across SAP S/4HANA, including custom interfaces, workflow enhancements, procurement transaction enhancements, and integration services connecting SAP to GEP and other external platforms.
- This position requires deep hands-on ABAP expertise combined with a strong understanding of the SAP S/4HANA architecture and procurement business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Phase 3 SAP enhancements including custom programs, reports, forms, and workflows.
- Build and maintain custom interfaces between SAP S/4HANA and external applications including the GEP procurement platform.
- Enhance procurement, invoicing, accounts payable, and supply chain transactions using Enhancement Framework, BADIs, and User Exits.
- Develop OData services and REST APIs to support integration and reporting requirements.
- Create and modify Adobe Forms and SmartForms for output and document generation.
- Develop CDS Views for reporting, analytics, and Fiori app enablement.
- Conduct code reviews, technical design documentation, and peer mentoring.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical defects identified during testing and post-go-live phases.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
