The role involves organizing and conducting independent audits of financial institution activities to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. The position offers a competitive salary of up to $100K and full benefits. Responsibilities: - Perform branch audits and document the results - Develop audit opinions and prepare work papers and audit observations - Lead audits, special reviews, and product coverage - Conduct risk assessments and identify controls - Report findings and prepare audit reports - Review and analyze general ledger accounts - Prepare confirmations for external auditors and examiners - Assist with audit planning - Complete required BSA/AML training and other compliance training - Locate financial errors and perform accruals - Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
