About the Role: JBK Search is a US-based executive search firm with over 26 years of experience placing high-impact talent in the heavy civil and construction industry. We work with general contractors, specialty subcontractors, and civil infrastructure companies across the United States. We are looking for a driven, articulate Business Development Recruiter to work US business hours and serve as the frontline voice of JBK Search. Responsibilities: - Identifying construction companies with active hiring needs. - Connecting directly with their decision-makers to set qualified appointments for our lead recruiter. Compensation: - This role pays an hourly base plus performance commission. - The base covers your stability. - The commission rewards your results. - Strong performers consistently earn $1,500–$2,500+ USD per month. What You Will Do: - Research US construction companies to identify active hiring needs using LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and job boards. - Identify the right hiring authority at each company, typically a VP of Operations, Director of Construction, or C-suite executive. - Conduct professional outbound calls and send compelling LinkedIn and email messages to open conversations. - Qualify opportunities and set confirmed appointments for our lead recruiter. - Track all outreach and outcomes in RecruiterFlow ATS with clean, accurate notes. - Build and maintain a growing pipeline of warm construction company relationships. What We Are Looking For: - Fluent, professional English, written and spoken (near-native preferred). - Experience in outbound sales, B2B cold outreach, appointment setting, or business development. - Confidence and poise when speaking with senior US executives; you do not back down from a gatekeeper. - Strong research instincts; you can find the right person at a company without being told exactly where to look. - Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment. - Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar prospecting tools is a strong plus. - Recruiting or construction industry experience is a bonus, not required.
