Experience: - 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience. Databricks: - Workspace administration. - Notebooks. - Jobs. - Delta Lake. - Unity Catalog. Genie (Databricks AI/BI Genie): - Conversational analytics. - Semantic layer configuration. Medallion Architecture: - Design and implementation of Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers. Azure Synapse Analytics: - Dedicated SQL pools. - Serverless SQL. - Pipelines. - Linked services. Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS): - Folder structures. - Access control. - Lifecycle management. T-SQL: - Complex queries. - Window functions. - CTEs. - Stored procedures. - Performance tuning. Power BI: - Understanding of semantic models, data sources, and report consumption patterns. - Experience building data models optimized for BI reporting tools. - Familiarity with SSRS or other enterprise reporting toolsets is a plus.
