The Extraction Facility and Production Manager plays a pivotal role in Lazarus Naturals’ mission to provide our customers with the highest quality CBD products available. This position will report directly to the VP of Operations and is responsible for ensuring extraction goals are met and the facility equipment is maintained and operational. The job will require a strong science and math background, mechanical inclination, and excellent problem solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Operation and maintenance of extraction equipment, such as centrifuges, pumps, valves, and centrifuges.
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on boilers, chillers, air compressors, forklifts, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and other production equipment.
- Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Assists VP of Operations with long term plant expansion/renovation planning and execution, coordinating and interfacing with vendors, contractors, and city/county representatives.
- Drive innovation by deploying best practices, industry trends, tools, and equipment to drive increased efficiency and operational excellence goals.
- Detailed record keeping of maintenance schedules, and continuously monitor all extraction processes so that malfunctions can be rectified immediately.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Meet demanding production goals consistently
- Generate and communicate monthly inventory and production costing report
- Perform other duties as assigned
