Job Title: Finance Operations & Projects Specialist (U.S. Tax) Location: Remote Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Role Summary We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Finance Operations & Projects Specialist. This is a high-trust role responsible for two primary functions: * Financial Operations (85-90%): Manage key financial administration and compliance tasks, with a mandatory focus on U.S. tax documentation. * Special Projects (10-15%): Manage the timelines, coordination, and accountability for high-priority internal projects. This role requires a candidate with a formal accounting background who can work with absolute discretion, manage complex data, and ensure all financial deadlines and project milestones are met. Key Responsibilities * Financial Administration: Track, categorize, and manage all designated expenses; prepare detailed financial reports for accounting, reimbursement, and tax purposes. * U.S. Tax Support: * Serve as the primary liaison with external accounting firms and tax advisors. * Gather, organize, and prepare all necessary documentation for U.S. tax filings. * Ensure all tax-related deadlines are tracked and met. * Project & Schedule Management: * Take full ownership of special projects, tracking progress, and ensuring all tasks are completed with accountability. * Coordinate and manage key financial calendars, including reporting deadlines, compliance schedules, and stakeholder meetings. Core Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. * Demonstrable experience with U.S. tax documentation and coordination with U.S.-based tax advisors. * Full professional proficiency in English. * 5+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Financial Project Management. * Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities. * Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks). * Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and handle confidential financial information with integrity. What We Offer * Salary: $8,000,000 COP per month (negotiable based on experience) * Contract: Full-time, permanent contract (contrato a término indefinido) * Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. * Location: Fully remote * Full Legal Benefits: Includes all Colombian prestaciones de ley (health/pension contributions, prima, cesantías, paid vacation, etc.)
