Job DescriptionTutor Intelligence is seeking a robot hardware engineer to help us build the next generation of accessible and intelligent robot hardware. In this role, you will build robots, grippers, enclosures, auxiliary actuated devices, PCBs, etc. You will own the lifecycle of many projects, from ideation through design, sourcing, and production.At Tutor, projects move fast and change frequently. It is unlikely you will work on a single one for more than a few weeks in a row. We’re a small startup with an even smaller hardware team. You will work on a lot of things here.Our process works like this:You apply, and we look at your resume.If we like what we see, we will send you a design challenge.If that goes well, we’ll invite you to come build with us for a day.RequirementsPretty good with CAD (Solidworks preferred)Experience with PCBs and/or power electronicsBuilt a lot of stuffLikes to design hardwareCreativeCan push projects forwardCan learn / figure out pretty much anythingSalary$90,000 - $115,000 a yearAll offers include generous equity, fully covered health + dental, and unlimited PTO.
