EXADS is a young international startup specializing in the ad tech industry. Proudly part of EXOGROUP, a set of companies made of 200+ very talented individuals with offerings across a wide range of services in the digital business, with headquarters in Barcelona and offices in Dublin, Porto, Valencia, Tarragona and Buenos Aires. EXADS is seeking a Database Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time position with the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in Portugal. As a Database Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring ClickHouse and MariaDB database clusters, ensuring system reliability and stability, and working with development teams to design, implement, and maintain databases based on end-user requirements. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with MySQL/MariaDB administration, experience in diagnosing and resolving operational problems, and knowledge about partitioning and sharding of data. Exposure to Agile methodologies, programming languages such as PHP, Python, and Go, and previous experience with BigData systems are considered a big plus.
