Are you a creative, QA-focused copywriter and digital marketer with a proven track record of driving MQLs and traffic? Build high-converting campaigns and organic growth from scratch—delivering clean, original copy that never relies on AI generators—for a tech-forward entertainment company creating premium experiences for global brands like Nike, Amazon, and Uber!!! 🚀 I am Cata Salcedo, a Global Talent Consultant who helps companies find top-tier talent. My model consists of acting as the strategic bridge between you and my clients, ensuring every process is Data-Driven, AI-leveraged, Skills-Based, and Human-Enjoyed. In this job, the client is: Equation Events. INITIAL RECRUITING PROCESS ⏳ 1. Application through Torre: Create your profile, your genome, answer the screening questions and we will be able to check your matching score with the position. 2. Specialized Human Decision: I will review your application, your matching score and your profile alignment to provide you with an update within 48 business hours. 3. Client’s Internal Process: If you are an initial match, I will present your process to Equation for them to decide if they want to move forward. Each company's process can vary, and I'll guide you and be with you in every step! ABOUT THE HIRING COMPANY 🧬 Equation Events is a leading provider of immersive and engaging technologies for corporate events and trade shows. We specialize in creating bespoke experiences that captivate attendees and bring event visions to life. They are a vibrant collective of event enthusiasts on a mission to breathe new life into corporate events, acting not just as service providers, but as visionaries and curators of experiences that leave attendees wanting more. They have a strong track record of working with Fortune 500 companies and large enterprises—including global giants like Nike, Amazon, and Uber—delivering exceptional solutions and services as a trusted strategic partner. ABOUT YOU 🫆 You are a creative, self-directed marketing professional and original copywriter with a proven track record of generating consistent website traffic and marketing-qualified leads (MQLs). Your core drive is creating high-impact content and campaigns that convert; you write with an authentic, compelling voice independently, using AI strictly for research or structuring rather than generating copy, and you take pride in publishing clean work that needs little to no rework. You bring a QA-first mentality, extreme organizational rigor, and dependable communication to every deliverable. You finish projects all the way to "done"—thoroughly verifying that links work, emails send cleanly, and landing pages render properly before shipping—and you operate with proactive responsiveness, keeping project loops closed in Asana. You are metrics-driven and accountable to your own KPIs, proactively monitoring site health and conversion numbers without needing to be chased. You take feedback constructively, flag mistakes early, and thrive in an agile environment where your creative output directly fuels the commercial sales engine. ⚙️ WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING This is a 100% remote, full-time contractor individual contributor role reporting to the Marketing Director. • Lead Generation & Campaign Execution (Outcome #1): Drive a growing, predictable flow of marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) converting to sales-qualified leads (SQLs) across Equation’s brands. Write original, high-converting copy for targeted email nurture flows, build compelling lead magnets and downloadable ebooks, and orchestrate campaigns in ActiveCampaign to keep the sales pipeline continuously fueled. • Organic Traffic & Technical SEO Health (Outcome #2): Expand organic search visibility across brand websites using Ahrefs for deep keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical audits. Proactively resolve technical SEO issues and optimize core pages to lift domain health and search ranking consistency. • On-Brand Asset Creation & Web Publishing (Outcome #3): Design clean, on-brand visual collateral in Canva (infographics, ebook layouts, email visuals, and campaign graphics). Update and publish landing pages across Webflow and Squarespace with clean formatting and basic HTML/CSS adjustments, ensuring every asset is 100% verified live with zero rework. • Process Documentation & Funnel Reporting: Document repeatable marketing workflows and standardized SOPs to scale operational execution. Monitor and report on core funnel analytics across ActiveCampaign, Ahrefs, and Google Sheets to guide continuous iteration. 🧠 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Must-have: • 2–5 years of progressive experience in a marketing, content, or digital copywriting role (100% remote, working with U.S.-based companies) • Exceptional, original copywriting and editing skills in fluent English across email, blog, web, and ebook formats (produces compelling copy independently without reliance on AI text generators) • Intermediate to advanced hands-on SEO proficiency with Ahrefs (keyword research, content gap analysis, on-page and technical SEO) • Proven experience building, scheduling, and reporting email marketing campaigns (ActiveCampaign or similar) • Comfortable editing and publishing website pages in Webflow or Squarespace, with basic understanding of HTML/CSS • Graphic design capability in Canva to produce clean, modern, on-brand marketing collateral and lead magnets • Proven track record of creating downloadable lead magnets or ebooks that successfully generate MQLs • Ability to write clear, standardized SOPs and process documentation • Fluent, easily understood spoken English for team collaboration calls and articulate business written English • Self-starter with high personal accountability, QA-first discipline, and reliable turnaround times (~1–2 hours response window during business hours) Nice-to-have: • UI/design familiarity in Figma • Experience with Looker Studio, Google Analytics, and CRM pipelines (Pipedrive) • Background in the corporate events, trade shows, or experiential entertainment space 💎 WHAT WE OFFER • Compensation: Base Salary: $1,500 – $2,300 USD/month depending on experience, portfolio depth, and proven track record. • Type of Contract: Full-time (100% remote) Independent Contractor engagement. • Health & Wellness: A monthly healthcare stipend to support your medical coverage needs. • Workspace Support: Home office upgrade budget provided after 3 months of collaboration. • Vacation: Ten (10) business days off annually. • Company Holidays: Ten (10) business days of paid company holidays annually. • Proven Model: Established, high-standard corporate brand trusted by global enterprise clients. • New Services: Dynamic, tech-forward immersive interactive services to market in 2026 and beyond. • Automation: Smart workflow automations and modern tooling to eliminate busywork and empower high-impact creative output. • Work Environment: Empowering, flexible, and autonomous. • Collaborative Culture: Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that values innovation, craftsmanship, and results. 🛠️ WHAT YOU’LL NEED • Work Setup: Professional remote equipment + a dedicated quiet workspace + high-speed, reliable internet and stable power.
