Check out our current openings to join the restaurant group of the future!We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join as the second member of our Data/Engineering team. This team is responsible for building our internal applications & reporting tools, as well as any other corporate & kitchen IT needs. Your main focus will be ensuring we continue to deliver useful and timely insights across the organization as we grow. The right candidate is a problem solver excited to dive deep into the operational challenges our teams face and the data we have available to help make our managers more effective. There is a lot of opportunity to grow and work on additional parts of our system depending on your skills, experience, and interests.Salary Range$100,000 to $150,000BenefitsUnlimited PTOMedical, Dental, & Vision plan401k with up to a 4% employer matchCareer advancement opportunitiesAs the Data Engineer, you will work closely with our Business Operations Engineer to:Become an expert on our dbt pipelines and models, owning all ad-hoc data requests andquestionsUnderstand the needs of our various teams and identify opportunities to gather and usenew dataDesign, build, and maintain new pipelines to integrate data from first and third partysourcesOwn data models and quality testing to support internal BI tools and ensure data quality Develop visualizations, reports, and dashboards for use across the organizationDocument pipelines, systems, and modelsUnderstand the tools our teams are using and source data they provideOptimize queries & pipelines to scale with our kitchen growth and reporting needsWork on other corporate IT & system setup tasks and help cover any tech issues in kitchensYou will bring:Fluency in SQLExperience with dbt or other data modeling tools and experience building data pipelinesExperience with Python or another programming languageExperience with data pipelines, cloud data warehouses (ex. BigQuery, Snowflake), and managing data quality & consistencyStrong analytical thinking, excellent verbal & written communicationExperience using data to solve operational problemsEagerness to learn and deeply understand restaurant operationsWe understand that there is no such thing as the “perfect prior work experience” and encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all the desired qualifications.
