STEM PhDs – Engineering
The company is seeking engineering PhDs to participate in a premier project in collaboration with one of the world’s leading AI research labs. This role involves contributing domain-specific expertise to a cutting-edge initiative focused on frontier large language models, with compensation ranging from $65 to $75 per hour.
In this role, candidates will apply their engineering knowledge to design high-quality, challenging problems with real-world applicability, helping shape the future direction of AI innovation. The position is fully remote, asynchronous, and part-time, offering flexibility and the potential for extended engagement.
Ideal qualifications
* Master’s or PhD in engineering from a top U.S. university.
* High attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent proficiency in English.
* Current residency in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, the UK, or Australia.
Key responsibilities
* Collaborate asynchronously with a team of highly qualified experts within the engineering domain.
* Craft, solve, and review challenging engineering problems with real-world relevance.
* Contribute consistently over 10 to 20 hours per week, with potential for additional hours and project extension.
Role start date
* The role is expected to begin in late September, with applications reviewed on a rolling basis.

* Paid onboarding of up to one hour, including screening and onboarding videos, if hired.
