Role Overview We are seeking an experienced US Recruiter with accounting/bookkeeping expertise. You will manage the full recruitment cycle for accounting and finance positions, from sourcing and screening to coordinating interviews and supporting hiring decisions. Your accounting knowledge will help assess technical skills accurately and ensure the best fit for candidates and the organization. You will collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, provide market insights, and deliver a high-quality recruitment experience. Core Responsibilities * Recruit for 1099 and contract-based accounting and finance roles. * Leverage AI tools to streamline recruiting processes. * Navigate sensitive candidate interactions with HR or people leadership experience. * Craft compelling outreach and job marketing materials. * Attract talent through content and community engagement. * Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for accounting and finance roles. * Source, engage, and evaluate qualified candidates. * Review resumes, conduct interviews, and assess technical accounting skills. * Advise hiring managers on role requirements and market trends. * Maintain an active talent pipeline. * Ensure a professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Requirements * 3+ years of US recruitment experience, including hiring 1099 and contract employees. * 1+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience (e.g., bookkeeper, accountant, auditor, finance associate). * QuickBooks Online experience. * Proven success in talent acquisition or headhunting. * Strong understanding of accounting concepts and financial reporting. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to manage multiple searches and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
