- US owned and operated - Servicing high tech leaders in commercial and defense aerospace - Utilizing leading edge technology and processes - Focused on quality and delivery success - Hiring and developing top quality talent Precision Aerospace Corp is seeking a talented CNC Machinist Mill for our B-shift (7:30pm-6:00am). The purpose of this position is to support the department’s ability to achieve its goals and objectives. This includes the safe and efficient operation of CNC Equipment allowing for the achievement of customer expectations for quality and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate will have two or more years of successful essential duty related experience, including operation of CNC Mills relevant equipment, a firm understanding of machining center theory, and the ability to use common measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, optical comparators, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Additionally, the candidate should have significant collaboration and communication skills related to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction, as well as blueprint reading skills to GD&T standards. Basic Windows and MS Office skills, basic math functions, and the ability to lift/push/pull 75 pounds periodically are also required. Must be a United States Citizen or US Permanent Resident. Responsibilities: - Operate CNC Mills and/or Lathes to produce the required number of correct parts in a timely manner according to process documentation. This can include operating multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously. - Correctly setup jobs in assigned equipment in a timely manner. - Perform 1st piece, in-process and last piece inspection using micrometers, calipers, comparators, various gauges and CMM equipment according to process documentation. - Perform data collection and communication tasks in Job Boss and other applications. - Perform operator maintenance. - Diagnose and correct equipment or tool issues. - Perform de-burr or rework of work in-process. - Make recommendations to optimize and improve assigned processes. - Maintain work station to 5S standards. - Perform all work according to PAC safety standards. - Comply with all PAC policy and procedures.
