About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Florida paralegal with strong knowledge of e-filing procedures and medical malpractice cases to join our legal team on a contract basis. This role requires someone detail-oriented, highly organized, and familiar with Florida court systems to manage filings, prepare case documents, and support attorneys in medical malpractice litigation.
✅Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, review, and file legal documents through Florida’s e-filing portal.
* Assist attorneys with case preparation for medical malpractice matters.
* Organize, maintain, and update case files and documentation.
* Conduct legal research related to medical malpractice cases as needed.
* Coordinate and track deadlines, hearings, and court dates.
* Communicate with clients, experts, and court personnel as required.
* Ensure all filings are accurate, timely, and compliant with court requirements.
🌟Qualifications:
* Paralegal certification (preferred) or equivalent experience.
* 2–5 years of experience as a paralegal in Florida.
* Proven experience with Florida e-filing procedures.
* Background in medical malpractice litigation is required.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
* Proficiency in legal software and case management tools.
* Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
