Director, Paid Media at Smartbug Media

• Lead, manage and build the paid media team, add skill sets and capabilities as needed, in support of agency growth and opportunities • Manage, grow and mentor the paid media team • Serve as the paid media thought leader – for both agency and clients – and grow SmartBug’s reputation in paid media to rival our inbound marketing leadership • Build and establish level client relationships and cross-functional team relationship to support SmartBug delivery goals • Ensure the successful delivery of paid media program(s) for all SmartBug clients, including client management, development of media plans, KPI’s and metrics of success • Serve as the paid media lead overseeing and managing all client accounts and the paid media team, including campaign and budget management, performance, content development, goal, metrics and reporting • Develop a deep understanding of the client’s business and marketing goals to deliver strategic digital media plans • Develop, build and implement a sophisticated paid media reporting process to track client programs and campaigns • Identify and implement improvements to SmartBug’s internal processes as it relates to paid media (client delivery, implementation of new tools, and campaign management) • Develop pro-active recommendations (process, tools, platforms, skillsets) to expand team capabilities and agency growth • Other responsibilities as assigned.
