Coniq powers well over £1 billion of sales annually for its clients, with more than 20 million consumers shopping at 1,800 brands in 24 countries worldwide, and has offices in Europe, the US and the Middle East. We’re looking for a PHP Developers to join our international team. This is a remote, Spain based role with opportunity to collaborate with the team in Barcelona offices. You will be working closely with the Product Manager to provide our clients with a solid, robust and modern product. You are also expected to provide assistance to less senior team mates, do code reviews and ensure code standards are being followed. Responsibilities: - Take a lead role in projects, setting the technical direction and supervising the work of other developers - Develop new features and maintain the server-side web-based applications - Contribute to the design of new features of the platform - Refactor existing code to improve performance, readability, maintainability, and scalability - Help triage and fix software defects - Undertake work independently to produce proofs of concept and MVPs to explore new possibilities - Take a lead role in promoting high quality, standards compliant code in an efficient Agile process, by contributing critical code-review feedback and representing and challenging our application of Agile principles
