We’re looking for 5 HBCU software engineering students who want to build something real.Through the 2150 Center for Innovation, Commercialization & Growth CICG Public Policy iLAB, we’re recruiting 5 Software Engineering Interns for a remote, paid work-study opportunity focused on applied technology development with EDUrain.This is a project-based engineering opportunity, not an observational internship.Students will have the opportunity to work directly on technology supporting the college housing ecosystem, including:Full-stack web and mobile developmentAI-powered tools and workflowsAPIs and system integrationsReal-time data and databasesDashboards and research toolsAutomationCollege and student-facing technologyTesting, debugging, and product improvementsNew prototypes and featuresThe goal is to give HBCU students experience with the actual development process:Understand the Problem → Design → Build → Test → Measure → ImproveInterns will work with a modern technology stack that includes React, Next.js, TypeScript, Python, Convex, AWS, React Native, AI tools, GitHub, and more.You do not need to know every technology in our stack.
