AI-Powered Video Editor Job Description We’re growing our creative team at Deos! We are a fast-paced DTC personal care brand, and we are looking for a Video Editor who doesn't just cut footage but knows how to tell compelling stories and craft ads that drive action. • You understand that the first 3 seconds of an ad are everything. • You know how to take raw UGC Content and elevate it into a high-converting piece • You know how to implement AI tools, video and image generation of custom b-roll that matches our brand aesthetic perfectly, and more. • You can easily edit in both English and Spanish This role is for someone who is obsessed with the intersection of creativity and technology. If you are already experimenting with the latest AI video models to speed up your workflow and improve ad performance, we want to talk to you. Tasks you will be responsible for: Ad Creation: Taking winning scripts and raw footage to create high-converting video ads. AI B-Roll Generation: Using AI tools to create specific, high-quality b-roll that would otherwise require expensive shoots (textures, lifestyle scenes, product close-ups). Hook Iteration: Rapidly creating 5–10 different "hooks" for a single ad to test performance. Sound Design: Ensuring every ad has "scroll-stopping" audio and pacing. Requirements This is NOT a position for: • Traditional editors who are resistant to using AI. • People who only know how to do "vlog-style" editing. • Editors who don't understand direct-response marketing (CTAs, hooks, and retention). For this role, we need someone with: • AI Proficiency: You must be highly proficient using Veo3, Nano Banana Pro, Higgsfield AI, and other tools to generate video and image assets. • Performance Experience: specific to DTC brands. • Visual Taste: The ability to make AI-generated content look seamless and high-end, not "uncanny" or "cheap." • Language: Native level of English and Spanish . If a new AI tool comes out, we want you to be the first to test it. To be considered, you must include: Your Reel/Portfolio: Show us your best performing ads. AI Samples: Show us examples of b-roll or clips you’ve generated. Trial: There will be a short trial task to test your understanding of story telling, your eye for high performing content, AI generation and editing speed.
