Requirements and responsibilities

Special Projects and Operations Associate: Catalyst Precision is hiring a Special Projects and Operations Associate to work directly with the founder on initiatives that move the business forward but do not live inside any single existing role. This includes partnership pipeline, PR outreach, research, special projects, and founder enablement. This is not a traditional VA role. Catalyst Precision needs someone who can own full workflows, draft high-quality written communication, run structured research, and operate as a true thought partner in the day-to-day. You will work closely with the founder, get exposed to the full stack of a fast-growing health business, and have a clear path to take on more scope over time. Responsibilities: Partnership Engine (~30%): - Maintain the partnership CRM (HubSpot or similar). Keep records clean, updated, and accurate. - Build and run a nurture cadence for gym owners, personal trainers, functional medicine providers, and wellness brand partners. - Draft first-pass outreach emails and follow-ups for founder review and send. - Research and compile target partner lists by geography and segment. - Prepare briefing documents for partnership calls. PR and Content Operations (~20%): - Build target media lists (publications, podcasts, journalists covering men's health, performance, longevity). - Research journalists and draft first-pass pitch emails. - Track coverage and repurpose hits into social and partnership materials. - Coordinate with external PR vendors when engaged. Research and Special Projects (~20%): - Run competitive and market research (peptide clinics, TRT providers, adjacent brands). - Pull and synthesize patient outcome data into case study drafts. - Prepare meeting materials for board of advisor sessions and strategic calls. - Take notes and own follow-up on meetings you attend. Social Media Operations (~10%): - Schedule approved content across Instagram and other platforms. - Triage DMs and comments, flagging anything that needs founder attention. - Pull monthly performance reports and flag what is working. Inbox and Calendar Triage (~10%): - Categorize inbound email, draft replies for approval, protect deep work blocks. - Schedule and prepare the founder for external meetings. - Flag time-sensitive items proactively. Personal Admin (~10%): - Flight and hotel booking, Amazon returns, appointment scheduling, gift research, occasional life logistics. - Treated with the same discretion as business work. Candidate Profile: - You are a structured thinker with strong written English, operator DNA, and the maturity to work closely with a founder across business and personal contexts. Must-Have Qualifications: - Professional written and spoken English. You write emails that feel human, warm, and clear without needing to be rewritten. - 2+ years of experience in an operations, project management, chief of staff, or senior executive assistant role at a startup, agency, or fast-moving business. - Track record of owning recurring workflows from start to finish, not just completing tasks assigned to you. - Fluency with modern tools such as Notion or Airtable, Google Workspace, Slack, at least one CRM (HubSpot, Close, Pipedrive, or similar), and Loom. - Comfort with ambiguity. You ask sharp clarifying questions upfront and then run without needing your hand held. - Discretion and judgment. You can be trusted with business-sensitive information and light personal admin without hesitation. - Reliability. You are responsive within a reasonable window during your working hours and communicate proactively when timelines shift. Nice-to-Have Qualifications: - Prior experience working with a US or European founder. - Experience in health, wellness, performance, or medical-adjacent businesses. - Light copywriting or content creation skills. - Basic design sense (Canva, Figma for quick visual tasks). - Experience running partnership or BD cadences. Logistics: - Engagement type: Independent contractor. Paid biweekly via Deel or Wise in USD. - Hours: 20 hours per week to start. Clear path to 30 or 40 hours based on performance and business growth. - Compensation: $12 to $15 per hour USD, based on experience and assessment performance. - Timezone overlap: Minimum 4 hours of overlap with US Eastern Time per working day. - Location: Remote. Based in Colombia strongly preferred. - Trial period: 60-day trial with formal review at day 60. Honest two-way feedback. Evaluation Process: - Catalyst Precision uses a structured process designed to be fast and respect your time. - Application via Torre. Includes three short written questions. - First interview. 30-minute video call with the founder. - Paid take-home assessment. 2 to 3 hours of focused work. Catalyst Precision pays $75 flat on submission, regardless of outcome, because they respect that your time has value. - Final interview. 45-minute video call to walk through your assessment and talk about fit. - References. Two conversations with prior managers or clients. - Offer. Catalyst Precision aims to go from first interview to offer in under two weeks. How to Apply: - Apply through Torre. Make sure you answer all three screening questions thoroughly. The quality of your answers, especially the short email in question 3, matters more than the length of your resume. If you are the right person, this will be one of the most interesting and fastest-growing roles you have had. Catalyst Precision is looking forward to hearing from you.
