Bilingual Virtual Medical Assistant (VMA) Engagement type: Independent Contractor Language requirement: Bilingual Spanish/English About the Role We're hiring Bilingual Virtual Medical Assistants (VMAs) to provide remote support coverage 7 days a week. This is non-clinical, non-skilled home care support work — we are not looking for nursing or clinical experience. We are looking for candidates with home care support experience who are self-sufficient, reliable, and comfortable working independently with minimal oversight. Coverage is split across two shift blocks (roughly 40 hours/week combined between both VMAs). You may apply for either shift, both, or indicate flexibility — we're open to filling these as one full-time-equivalent split two ways, one full-time + one part-time, or two part-time contractors, depending on the best fit. Schedule - Weekday evenings: Monday–Friday, 5:30 PM–10:00 PM CST (4.5 hrs/day) - Weekends: Saturday–Sunday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM CST (full day) Requirements - Fluent bilingual Spanish/English (required — verbal and written) - Experience in non-skilled home care support (companionship, daily living support, etc.) — clinical/nursing background is not required and not the focus of this role - Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-manage without close supervision - Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional remote work setup - Availability matching one or both of the shift blocks above Preferred - Prior experience as a virtual assistant supporting home care clients or agencies - Track record of reliability and low turnover in similar remote support roles
