Requirements and responsibilities

We are hiring for a full-time (Remote) Software Quality Assurance Engineer position.ResponsibilitiesDesign, create, and execute test plans and test cases.Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications.Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and user acceptance testing.Validate new features against business and technical requirements.Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release testing.Ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.Maintain clear test documentation and testing reports.Suggest improvements to testing processes and quality standards.Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.Requirements1-2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA).Experience with manual testing of web and/or mobile applications.Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.Experience writing and executing test cases.Ability to identify, document, and track software bugs.Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.Basic knowledge of SQL.Basic experience testing REST APIs using Postman or similar tools.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and teamwork skills.📍 Location: Remote - Full Time📩 Contact Email: hello@grittyfolks.com
