Your duties will include supervising the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs.You should have advanced technical and organizational skills, proven professional experience, and a detailed knowledge of industry’s best practice processes.Schedule: Open Availability.Location: Johannesburg, SA.IT Manager responsibilities are:Lead IT Infrastructure & Strategy: Direct the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, aligning it with business goals and collaborating with the IT Director on strategy and budget.Ensure Security & Compliance: Oversee network security, conduct regular audits, and manage compliance with industry standards such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and SOC 2, coordinating with the Compliance Officer as needed.Manage IT Operations & Data: Guarantee the reliable operation of network infrastructure, manage user accounts, oversee data backups and recovery systems, and ensure data integrity and availability.Supervise & Develop IT Team: Directly manage the IT Help Desk Supervisor and other IT personnel, focusing on team performance, professional development, and coordinating cybersecurity training.Lead IT Projects & Vendor Relations: Drive IT projects from software implementations to hardware upgrades, manage vendor coordination, negotiate contracts, and track the IT budget.Oversee Incident & Change Management: Lead the incident response process for swift issue resolution and manage change control to maintain IT environment stability and document changes.IT Manager requirements are:Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory roleDeep understanding of IT infrastructure, security frameworks (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001), network security, and cloud environmentsIn-depth knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systemsStrong leadership, organizational, and project management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities effectivelyBS degree in Computer Science, MIS or other relevant areaEnglish B2 with strong verbal and written communication skillsAdvanced proficiency in network management, Windows Server, Active Directory, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), and endpoint managementCompTIA Network+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), ITIL, or equivalent certifications (Preferred)
