As the Senior Subscription Marketer, you will be responsible for:
š° Petroleum Economist ā The premium B2B media offering in-depth analysis into the global energy industry.
š Global Energy Infrastructure ā The premium B2B business intelligence tool providing critical data on energy infrastructure projects worldwide.
š Key Responsibilities
-Drive subscriber growth and retention by developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives focused on creating and keeping senior-level subscribers in the global energy industry.
-Select and optimize the most effective digital channelsāincluding email, paid media, SEO, LinkedIn, and strategic partnershipsāto maximize high-value conversions.
-Craft executive-level messaging and value propositions that resonate with the specific needs and decision-making contexts of C-suite and senior professionals.
-Continuously improve performance through disciplined testing (A/B and multivariate), analysis, and data-led refinement of pricing, positioning, and marketing tactics.
-Enhance subscription retention and lead nurturing by managing and optimizing marketing automation, CRM workflows, and customer journey touchpoints.
-Leverage subscriber data and behavior insights to identify opportunities for improved engagement, conversion, and long-term value creation.
-Collaborate cross-functionally with editorial, product, and sales teams to ensure marketing efforts reflect and reinforce the companyās value to its core audience.
-Produce high-impact marketing assetsāincluding landing pages, email sequences, and ad creativesātailored to the priorities and preferences of senior decision-makers.
-Stay attuned to competitive activity and market trends, adjusting marketing strategies proactively to maintain relevance and differentiation.
-Ensure technical excellence in email execution, including deliverability, engagement optimization, and hands-on HTML/CSS adjustments as needed.
Performance Goals
-Achieve quarterly targets for new subscriber acquisition and retention of senior-level subscribers.
-Increase customer lifetime value through effective onboarding and engagement strategies.
-Maintain or improve conversion rates across key digital channels through continual optimization.
-Ensure marketing ROI meets or exceeds established benchmarks for paid and organic campaigns.

Requirements
Bachelorās degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in subscription marketing, ideally B2B.
Experience engaging executive audiences in energy, finance, or infrastructure sectors.
Proficiency with platforms such as Omeda, Cvent, and enterprise email marketing tools.
