Description:
The BI&A Manager will facilitate the development and execution of the organization’s data strategy and processes.
The role targets expertise in business intelligence tools and advanced data analytics to drive informed decision-making.
Working with a team, the manager will drive the design and management of reporting processes, dashboards, and predictive models, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives to aid in operational performance, actionable insights, and data visualization for clients.
Key job functions:
• Establish strategy for data management practices and processes.
• Manage and mentor a team to define and deliver data reporting and analytics.
• Develop and manage dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Deliver data visualizations through the use of BI Tools for internal and external audiences.
• Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive business strategy.
• Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define analytical requirements and communicate actionable recommendations.
• Establish data governance protocols to ensure integrity of data, consistency, accuracy, and accessibility.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop and oversee organizational data warehouses.
• Lead initiatives in analytics to facilitate improvements of operational performance, through data-driven results.
Qualifications:
• Three (3) or more years of direct experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and/or related fields.
• One (1) or more years of managerial experience leading technical teams.
• Strong proficiency in English language, both verbal and written, in a professional work environment.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical findings into business language.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to align data initiatives with business goals.
• Ability to stay current with emerging trends and innovations in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Database frameworks.
• Experience in the BPO industry or similar field is preferred.
Required Skills:
• Proficient in Business Intelligence tools like Microsoft Power BI and Google Looker.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with Excel, reporting packages (Business Objects, etc.), databases (SQL, etc.) programming (Python, JSON, JavaScript, or ELT frameworks).
• Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
• Expertise in design and delivery of executive level reports and dashboards.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Computing.
