Position Overview:
The Junior Short-Form Video Editor will focus on executing short-form video edits using provided templates and clear creative direction. This is a hands-on, production-focused role designed for someone early in their editing career who thrives on repetition, feedback, and consistent output.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit short-form videos (e.g., Reels, Shorts, TikToks) using provided templates.
Apply basic cuts, captions, transitions, and light visual effects.
Follow structured editing guidelines and incorporate feedback efficiently.
Maintain consistent turnaround times and file organization.
Collaborate asynchronously with the team via written feedback.
Qualifications:
1+ year of experience editing short-form video content.
Proficiency in at least one editing tool (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Canva).
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow templates.
Comfortable with repetitive, execution-focused work.
Basic written English proficiency (approx. 70/100).
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience editing social media content at scale.
Familiarity with captions, emojis, and pacing for short-form platforms.
Prior experience working remotely with US-based teams.
