Requirements and responsibilities

About the role: EZ MD Solutions provides Virtual Medical Assistance, Medical Scribing, Medical Billing, and Revenue Cycle Management services to physician practices across the United States. We are hiring bilingual (English–Spanish) Virtual Medical Assistants and Medical Scribes to support our US healthcare clients remotely. Responsibilities: - Provide real-time medical scribing during patient visits and document encounters in the EHR/EMR. - Manage patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and follow-ups. - Maintain and update medical records with accuracy and confidentiality. - Handle inbound/outbound patient communication in English and Spanish. - Support referrals, prior authorizations, and intake coordination. - Assist with medical billing tasks as needed. - Follow HIPAA compliance standards in all patient data handling. Requirements: - Fully fluent English (spoken and written) — you will communicate with US physicians and patients daily. - Native or fluent Spanish. - Entry level welcome (0–2 years). - Availability to work US business hours (night/evening shift depending on your time zone). - Reliable computer, headset, and stable high-speed internet. - Strong attention to detail and professional communication. - Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems (Epic, eClinicalWorks, Kareo, Athena) is a plus, not required. - Background or studies in healthcare, medicine, or nursing is a plus, not required.
