Requirements and responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer with strong Clinisys (Sunquest) LIS expertise to support and optimize Laboratory Information Systems within a dynamic healthcare environment.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Sunquest LIS, including Collection and Tempo modulesSupport day-to-day operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of laboratory applicationsManage incidents, service requests, and application support activities in alignment with SLAsCollaborate with healthcare stakeholders, vendor teams, and onshore/offshore support teamsCoordinate application enhancements, testing, documentation, and system updatesMaintain workflows, build specifications, support procedures, and testing documentationEnsure compliance with HIPAA, CAP, data governance, and security standardsProvide status updates, identify risks, and support continuous improvement initiativesRequired Qualifications2+ years of application support, application management, or application coordination experienceHands-on experience with Clinisys (Sunquest) LIS Suite (Required)Experience supporting healthcare or clinical laboratory applicationsStrong troubleshooting and issue-resolution skillsExperience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience supporting testing, documentation, and operational support activitiesUnderstanding of HIPAA and healthcare compliance requirementsPreferred QualificationsBackground in Medical Laboratory ScienceExperience with integrated laboratory systems including: RALS, Aqure, NovaNet; Data Innovations Instrument Manager; Roche Navify / Infinity for Cobas Instruments; PowerPath, Ventana, HistoTrac, Telcor RCM; TEG Manager; Synapsis for Microbiology; Bio-Rad Unity Real Time; ImmulinkExperience working with offshore support models and distributed teamsFamiliarity with change management, release support, and application enhancementsAlternative Titles: Clinical Applications Analyst; Laboratory Systems Analyst; Sunquest LIS Analyst📩 Interested candidates, please share your updated resume and LinkedIn profile.
