Global Artivism is hiring a Communications Director to build and lead the movement’s communications function across strategy, storytelling, campaigns, media engagement, and digital presence.This role will help shape how Global Artivism is understood across regions and audiences — developing narrative frameworks, editorial direction, campaign communications, and systems for distributed collaboration.We’re looking for someone who can:turn complex movement work into clear, resonant public languagecurate a movement-aligned voice across platforms and partnershipsbuild communications systems in collaborative environmentsunderstand culture, storytelling, and narrative as part of systems changeWe value movement experience, community organizing, journalism, grassroots media, and self-taught practice alongside formal communications backgrounds.We especially encourage applications from the Global South and Global Majority communities.📅 Applications close June 10⏳ 12-month independent contractor engagement
