We’re looking for a Mainframe Systems Programmer with deep experience in z/OS and ISV technologies. In this role, you’ll take the lead on designing, configuring, and maintaining complex mainframe environments while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to keep systems running at peak performance.Required Technical ExpertiseExtensive experience with SMP/E and non-SMP/E installations, especially for ISV products.Strong background installing and upgrading IBM and Broadcom software solutions.Deep fluency with z/OS system commands, utilities, and key automation tools.Proven experience upgrading z/OS to V2.5 or later using z/OSMF Workflows.Solid understanding of IODF/HCD for onboarding new devices.Familiarity with Sysplex and configuration management (a plus).Strong knowledge of JCL and IBM utilities (IEBGENER, IEBCOPY, AMASPZAP, DFDSS).Proficient with ISPF/TSO and foundational mainframe tooling.Basic working knowledge of REXX/CLIST scripting.Ability to build detailed project plans (upgrades, maintenance, decommissioning), coordinate tasks across stakeholders, and communicate timelines clearly.Skilled in developing roadmaps and defining prerequisites needed to deliver complex projects successfully.Position : Mainframe Systems Programmer - z/OSLocation: RemoteDuration: 6+ month contract.
