Requirements and responsibilities


At EvolutionCode, we seek a Senior Data Analytics Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, focused on AWS and Snowflake. Strong hands-on expertise in data warehouses and lakehouses, ETL and ELT processes, dimensional modeling, and advanced SQL. Experience with modern data tools such as dbt, Airflow, Databricks, Redshift, or Palantir. Ability to work directly with clients, translating business needs into scalable and reliable data solutions. Proactive, autonomous, and delivery-oriented profile, with experience in Agile and CI/CD environments. Key Responsibilities * Design and develop high-quality data and analytics solutions using modern data platforms. * Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. * Work directly with clients to gather requirements and provide technical guidance and best practices. * Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, troubleshooting, and technical guidance. * Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and engineers to meet delivery milestones. * Ensure solution quality through testing, optimization, and proactive issue identification. * Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data engineering. Required Technical Skills * 3 to 5 years of experience in Data Engineering. * Hands-on experience with modern data platforms and tools, including Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Databricks, Redshift, and Palantir. * Strong knowledge of data warehouse and lakehouse architectures, including Medallion Architecture. * Experience with ETL and ELT processes. * Data modeling experience using dimensional and Kimball methodologies. * Advanced SQL skills. * Experience in data profiling and anomaly detection. * Solid experience with relational databases. * Familiarity with Agile development practices. * Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. Required Skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with expected client interaction. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Proactive mindset with strong ownership and follow-through. * Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. Additional Information Remote position. Preferred overlap with US ET and CT time zones.
