Responsibilities

The game-generation pipeline is the product. Every game in the feed comes out of it: creator's prompt, intent extraction, template matching, model routing, asset retrieval, generation, validation and repair, runtime, and play telemetry back into the loop. It is built around a fixed library of approximately 20 proven core mechanics with hard-constraint specs and a quality score fed by real play data, such as completion, replay, and share/remix. Role Responsibilities: - Own the full generation pipeline end to end. - Move playability pass rate up and cost per generation down at volume. - Run benchmark suites, LLM-as-judge, and playability pass/fail checks. - Show output quality improving over time. - Own the economics including tiered model routing, RAG/templates, caching, and small-model distillation. - Remain hands-on in the runtime, specifically with browser/JS games, procedural content, and asset/image generation. - Collaborate with core engineering in Sofia and with game design. - Serve as the technical owner of the pipeline and lead the team. Qualifications: - Have shipped text-to-game or AI game-creation technology similar to Rosebud, Bitmagic, Astrocade, Websim, Roblox Cube/Assistant, or Hidden Door. - Have shipped a prompt-to-running-app agent at scale similar to Replit Agent, Lovable, Bolt, or v0. - Understand the full generation loop including generation, validation, repair, and evaluation using benchmark suites. - Demonstrate expertise in generation economics including tiered model routing, RAG/templates, caching, and small-model distillation. - Proven track record of cutting cost per generation by 10x. - Strong engineering skills in the runtime environment including Three.js, Phaser, Babylon, voxel engines, procedural content, and asset/image generation. Nice to Have: - Research credentials in generative game technology such as DeepMind Genie/SIMA or Microsoft Muse. - Experience leading a team of 2-3 people. - Experience fine-tuning or distilling open models in production. - Image or 3D asset generation experience. - Game-engine background with Unity or Godot. - Startup or founding-team experience.
