Job Summary: Bear Robotics creates solutions for the future of automated hospitality and is a leading industry manufacturer of AI-driven autonomous robots. We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Finance team. As the Accounting Manager at Bear Robotics, you will play a critical role in driving the financial reporting and operations of our rapidly expanding robotics startup. You will be responsible for maintaining financial health, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support our growth and success. The Accounting Manager will have a broad range of responsibilities and will work on a hands-on basis.Key Duties/Responsibilities:Develop and implement global and scalable accounting and tax reporting processes for our US and international legal entitiesSupport and help deliver the US consolidated and international statutory audits in line with set timelinesDevelop and maintain strong partnerships with Sales, Legal, People Ops, and Supply Chain to support growth and expansion into new products and geographiesEnsure compliance with our global financial and tax filing requirements across all tax headsSupport the preparation of financial statements for our US and international subsidiaries, including month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, flux analysis, and Board reportingHelp build and implement strong financial controls across all aspects of the P&L and balance sheetEngage in project work with our ERP advisors to implement full utilization of our ERP system and drive finance transformation through process and system automationPerform technical accounting analysis under US GAAP and IFRSMaintain accounting policies and proceduresWork as part of a high-performing accounting team on a global basisPerforms other related duties as assignedSupervisory Responsibilities:NoneRequired Skills/Abilities/Qualifications:Proven experience working as part of the month-end close and consolidation teamHands-on experience with accounting systems, preferably NetSuiteExperience supporting tax reporting and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulationsDemonstrated ability to implement process improvements and leverage technology to drive automation and efficiencyStrong track record of maintaining the compliance and good standing of legal entities across multiple jurisdictionsDeep understanding of US GAAP and the ability to prepare relevant technical accounting memosStrong knowledge of core financial principles, practices, and regulationsExcellent project management, organizational, and communication skillsMust be able to work independently and collaborate across multiple time zonesExperience using NetSuite, Google Sheets, and Avalara highly preferredMust be able to work onsite at our Addison, TX office dailyAbility to travel to international locations 1–2 times per yearPreferred Skills/Abilities/Qualifications:Experience in Manufacturing / AI / Tech industryEducation/Experience:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance6 to 8 years of relevant accounting and industry experience, preferably in a startup or high-growth environmentCPA qualification highly preferredPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer. The employee routinely is required to sit; stand, walk; talk and hear; use hands to keyboardSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Ability to lift 30 lbs.Pay Range:The pay range for this position is $92K to 115K + discretionary annual performance bonus .
