Full-Stack Software Engineer Job Reference: 3WR3X7RW Location: San Francisco Headcount: 5 Seniority: Associate Compensation: $170,000–$215,000 + equity Sponsorship: No visa sponsorship now or in the future Position Overview We are partnering with a rapidly growing telehealth startup that is scaling aggressively following strong early traction and a recently closed $32M Series A. They are seeking five Full-Stack Software Engineers to join their lean, high-performing engineering team in San Francisco. This is a high-impact role where you will work across the stack, collaborate directly with clinical and operational stakeholders, and build the next generation of modern healthcare infrastructure. What They’re Looking For - Engineers with strong full-stack capability and an entrepreneurial mindset. - Individuals who move quickly, thrive in ambiguity, and take ownership end-to-end. - Clear communicators with strong presence, curiosity, and the ability to partner with non-technical teams. Not a fit for: - Pure backend-only or frontend-only engineers. - Slow-moving or “lifestyle” engineers. - Candidates with unstable or freelance-heavy backgrounds. Why This Opportunity Stands Out - Transforming one of the most outdated and critical industries in the US. - High ownership and visibility—engineers directly influence product direction. - Hybrid onsite model with a deeply collaborative culture. - Significant growth ahead as the company scales to meet demand. Key Responsibilities - Build and maintain full-stack features across pricing, scheduling, and payments. - Write PRDs, SQL queries, and documentation to support analytics and product decisions. - Own QA and end-to-end delivery for your features. - Work closely with clinicians and operations teams to understand real-world workflows. - Integrate with core healthcare systems (EHRs, insurance platforms, labs). - Navigate ambiguity and take on wide-ranging technical challenges. What They’re Looking For - 2+ years of professional experience as a full-stack or frontend engineer. - Startup experience — comfortable operating in fast-moving, early-stage environments. - Strong frontend or full-stack background with willingness to become a true generalist. - Proficiency in at least one modern technology stack. - Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical decisions. - Entrepreneurial mindset with experience building products or side projects. - Mission alignment with improving access to healthcare (no prior healthcare experience required).
