Summary:The Compliance Analyst position is responsible for ensuring Companys compliance with the drug and alcohol regulations of the Department of Transportation (DOT) to include Pipeline Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) requirements, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requirements, and with the Companys Substance Abuse Policy.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Evaluate, monitor, and maintain designated DOT and Non-DOT random testing pools in coordination with Operations, Safety and DOT Compliance departments.Administer, coordinate and communicate drug and alcohol testing process per our policy to include pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion testingPerform Designated Employer Representative (DER) responsibilities to include but not limited to:Conducting random auditsMaking decisions during the testing process and receiving test resultsEnsuring the confidentiality of drug and alcohol testing informationAnnual and bi-annual reporting of drug testingAudit DOT history authorizations and history check form for completion in compliance with DOT requirementsPrepare for and represent the Company in Federal, State, and Railroad Commission, and customer Drug and Alcohol auditsRespond to DOT verification requests.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
