Requirements and responsibilities

The Solution Architect will provide end to end technical leadership for migrating IBM ACE workflows and Sterling based B2B/EDI integrations to Azure Integration Services (AIS), while shaping an AI enabled Integration Factory. This role is critical for high volume, business critical integrations, and high visibility.Required Skills & Experience12–15+ years in enterprise integration architectureStrong hands on experience with: o IBM ACE / IIB o Azure Integration ServicesProven experience in largescale ESB migrationsDeep understanding of: o B2B/EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, AS2) o High volume transaction systems (OMS, Finance)Strong architectural foundation in: o API led connectivity o Event driven architecturesExperience designing factory or ICC modelsExposure to AI assisted modernization is a strong plusKey ResponsibilitiesOwn target integration architecture for IBM ACE → AIS migration.Define factory architecture using Logic Apps (Standard), Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management.Lead complex interface strategy, including: o IBM TX based transformations o Canonical data model design o Decoupling and event driven patternsArchitect B2B/EDI modernization: o Assess migration feasibility from Sterling B2B / File Gateway o Define approach using Azure native EDI capabilities and partner integrationsReview and enhance existing migration framework, especially for: o High volume transactional flows o Orchestrations spanning multiple internal & third party systemsDefine non functional requirements: o Throughput, latency, resiliency o DR, security, complianceEstablish governance, patterns, and guardrails aligned to an Integration Factory model.Champion AI and automation adoption: o AI assisted interface assessment o Migration acceleration using Azure AI Foundry o Agentic integration patternsType: Contract (W2 only).
