Follow us on Instagram @zopalifeWe are looking for a Senior Finance Operations Analyst to join our Financial Operations & Control team.To be successful in this role you’ll have a strong understanding of the reconciliation process, these will include external bank accounts, general ledger and product account reconciliations. This role would suit best someone who is passionate about process excellence and enjoys routine task-based and process-driven work, takes great pride in the quality of output, and has strong attention to details.Our Finance team is growing at pace so you’ll have a clear ability to build effective and influential relationships within Finance and other Zopa teams. Our team are self-starting problem solvers, agile and thrive on bringing past experiences to a diverse range of challenges. You'll be part of an impressive Zopa team, who are super collaborative and happy to roll their sleeves up and get involved in whatever needs doing to achieve their goals!A day in the life:Take ownership for completing daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly tasks timely and accuratelyComplete all reconciliations processes and ensure timely resolution of reconciliation breaks whilst adhering to internal policies and proceduresProcess adhoc manual payment request and daily funding movementsMaintain operational procedures to ensure these are accurate and up-to-dateAdhere to control frameworks and policies, ensuring that controls are operated effectivelySupport the wider Finance Operations & Control team with ad-hoc work as and when neededBe actively involved in Finance related process improvement initiativesAbout you:You’ll have experience with reconciliations ideally within financial servicesStrong numeric/analytical and spreadsheet skills.Have great attention to details and take pride in the quality of your work.Be able to work independently and take initiative.You’ll have the ability to work to tight deadlines whilst working accurately with attention to detail, and keeping yourself and the team organised.Finally, you’ll have a passion for excellence and innovation to continually improve processes.Bonus points for:Experience of Blackline, NetSuite and/or Infor Sun Systems is advantageousAt Zopa we value flexible ways of working.We value face-to-face collaboration and a good work-life balance.
