We are looking for a Snowflake Architect with expertise in AWS and Snowflake components to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily standup meetings, technical issue resolution, PoCs for new technology exploration, code merges, data ingestion work, and collaboration with the client's Lead Architect/Leads. The candidate should have 10+ years of experience in consultative/sophisticated deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of data and analytics solutions. Experience with CI/CD, DBT, Airflow, and Test Automation is a plus. If you are bold, curious, and have a passion for reinventing the world, come and be a part of our exciting journey!
Responsibilities:
- Daily standup meeting with Genpact offshore team to discuss all development & test JIRA cards. Help developers with any technical issues related to AWS components (Lambdas, SNS, Athena, Step Functions, Glue Jobs & Triggers)
- Help developers with any technical issues related to Snowflake components (External Tables, Internal Tables, Tasks, Streams, Warehouses)
- Conduct PoCs for new technology exploration e.g., DBT for implementing SCD Type2 tables, Data Quality testing using DBT, Data Masking in Snowflake.
- Coordinate code merges to Sandbox Master and releases/deployments to UAT & PROD (both AWS and Snowflake), via Gitlab
- Understand business requirements for upcoming data ingestion work (Securities data, Master data, Positions data, etc.)
- Work with client Lead Architect/Leads to resolve dependencies, technical challenges, etc.
- Ensure proper documentation is created for the new pipelines, extracts, etc. being developed (Confluence).
